Protections for TURNS – EN ISO 23125:2015 TF and TC and AR Series

Among the most common machine tools in machine shops, conventional i.e., non-CNC lathes need appropriate guards to prevent machining material from coming into contact with the operator (glowing chips) and greatly reduce the risk of contact with the spindle and tool and workpiece. Characteristics of lathe guards:

The lathe guards in question made by REPAR2 protect the operator from direct contact with rotating parts (spindle) and the projection of lubricant-coolant (carriage).

The set of guards are easily anchored to the machine by solid brackets.

They are made of RAL1007 baked painted steel and buffered windows made of thick impact-resistant Lexan polycarbonate or 2+2mm laminated glass. All guards are also equipped with safety microswitch.
